১. Participle-এর প্রকারভেদ:

২. Present Participle (verb + ing):

যখন verb-এর সাথে ing যুক্ত হয়ে একই সাথে verb ও Adjective-এর কাজ করে এবং কোনো কাজ চলমান বা সক্রিয় অবস্থা বোঝায়, তখন তাকে Present Participle বলে।

গঠন: Base form of verb + ing.
Example: I saw a running train. (এখানে running শব্দটি train-এর অবস্থা বোঝাচ্ছে)।

৩. Past Participle (V3 form):

যখন verb-এর Past Participle রূপটি (V3) বাক্যে Adjective হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং কোনো কাজ ইতোমধ্যে সম্পন্ন হয়েছে এমন অবস্থা বোঝায়, তাকে Past Participle বলে।

গঠন: Verb-এর ৩য় রূপ (V3)।

৪. Perfect Participle (Having + V3):

একটি কাজ শেষ হওয়ার ঠিক পরপরই অন্য একটি কাজ শুরু হলে, প্রথম কাজটি বোঝাতে Perfect Participle ব্যবহৃত হয়। এটি মূলত সময়ের ধারাবাহিকতা নির্দেশ করে।

৬. Participle ব্যবহারের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ নিয়ম:

Noun-এর আগে: এটি Noun-এর গুণ বা অবস্থা প্রকাশ করতে তার ঠিক আগে বসে।
- Example: It was an exciting match.
Object-এর পরিপূরক হিসেবে: কখনো কখনো Object-এর পরে বসে তার অবস্থা বর্ণনা করে।
- Example: I kept him waiting.
দুটি বাক্যকে যুক্ত করতে: একই সাবজেক্ট দুটি কাজ করলে ছোট কাজটির ক্ষেত্রে Participle ব্যবহৃত হয়।
